Our story

After 6 years in the football shirt industry running FootballshirtsJack.com, we decided to create a football quiz app that's both interactive, fun and competitive.

With leaderboards and progress sections built within the app, we set out to make the kind of football trivia experience we'd actually want to play.

Football Lad is a football trivia hub built by lifelong supporters who grew tired of half-baked quiz apps. We wanted somewhere fast, free to start, and packed with the kinds of questions you'd actually argue about in the pub.

We were sick of using ChatGPT or Wikipedia to create imaginative questions, so we thought: why don't we create an app to make it easier? We all love a football quiz. So we built the site we wanted to play on, and opened it up to everyone.

What we believe a football quiz app should feel like

Football Lad should feel like the perfect pre-match warm-up, half-time distraction, or post-pub debate starter. Fast rounds, competitive leaderboards, and questions that make you think — then make you text your mate about it.
