Competition Rules
Last updated: 19 June 2026
From time to time we run prize competitions where the top players on the Football Lad leaderboard win prizes (for example, football shirts or cash). These rules apply to every Football Lad competition.
1. Promoter
The promoter is Footballshirtsjack, 2, The Oval, Wynyard, England TS22 5SQ.
2. Free entry route — no purchase necessary
You do not need to subscribe to enter or win. Every account, free or Pro, can enter and can win.
- Free accounts can play up to 5 games per day across all modes. Scores from those games count towards the leaderboard.
- If you would like additional free entries beyond your 5/day allowance — e.g. to match the play volume of a Pro subscriber — write to us at Footballshirtsjack@outlook.com requesting "free additional entries". Each request grants up to 25 additional free games for the current competition period. There is no limit on how many such requests you can make.
3. Eligibility
Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Employees of the promoter and their immediate family are not eligible.
4. Skill, not chance
Winners are determined by the highest cumulative score on the relevant leaderboard at the close of the competition period. Scores are earned by correctly answering trivia questions across the game modes — this is a competition of skill, not a lottery.
5. Competition periods and prizes
Each competition period and its prize will be announced on the leaderboard page before it begins. Typical examples:
- Top of the monthly leaderboard wins a football shirt of their choice (up to a stated value).
- Top three of a quarterly leaderboard share a cash prize pool.
Specific prizes, values, durations, and tie-break rules are stated alongside each competition. No cash alternative is offered for non-cash prizes unless stated.
6. How winners are notified
Winners are contacted by email within 7 days of the competition closing. If a winner does not respond within 14 days we may pick the next-ranked eligible player.
7. Fair play
We may exclude any entrant we reasonably believe has cheated, used multiple accounts, automated entries, or otherwise acted in bad faith. Our decision is final.
8. Data
We process entrant data in line with our Privacy Notice. By entering, you consent to your display name and score appearing on the public leaderboard.
9. Governing law
These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
