These terms govern your use of the Football Lad website and apps (the "Service"), operated by Footballshirtsjack ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Who you're contracting with

You are entering this agreement with Footballshirtsjack. You confirm you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher).

2. The Service

Football Lad is a free football trivia web app with multiple game modes, accounts and leaderboards.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
  • commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate others;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property rights;
  • interfere with the Service's security (malware, probing, scraping, automated entries, bots, multi-accounting to inflate leaderboard scores).

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

5. Intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service and its IP (software, content, branding). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

7. Competitions and prizes

Prize draws and competitions are governed by our Competition Rules. A free entry route is always available — no purchase is necessary.

8. Service availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may change, suspend or remove features. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for: material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, repeated or serious policy violations, or where required by law.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you have paid in the prior six months. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages (loss of profits, data, goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where required by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
